The Urban Anthropology Team in The Field Museum’s division of Environment, Culture, and Conservation (ECCo) collects stories from residents all across Chicago, learning about their environmentally-friendly practices and actions and understanding what inspires their behavior. Recently we embarked on a collaboration with a team of storytellers to combine our ethnographic story collecting methods with their methods for getting people to understand, share, and learn from personal stories.
